The needs of the community provided an opportunity for LiNKS to expand their services into language interpreting.
LiNKS Sign Language & Interpreting Services (LiNKS) began offering interpreting services initially for sign language in 1999.
The continued growth in minorities in the U.S. has also created a need for document translation services. Particularly, the upcoming implementation of the Affordable Care Act promises a greater need for language and translation services for the new population that will become eligible to receive medical coverage for the first time.
This population will include people with Limited English Proficiency and health plans are preparing to serve this large population.

We have found their interpreting services to be competitively priced and readily available. They have been able to serve all of our needs, including those that present at the last minute. Interpreters dispatched by LiNKS have proven to be punctual and professional. They routinely demonstrate an admirable level of understanding of the educational process and investment in student success.
Additionally, we have found their support staff to be professional, responsive, and well-versed in access provision to the Deaf.
